San Marzano Redorta Tomato

The San Marzano Redorta Tomato is a very large, intriguing elongated paste-type tomato named after an Alpine mountain.  The disease resistant plants produce a staggering number of huge attractive 'eat off the vine' fruit throughout the season.

The very big fruit of the San Marzano Redorta Tomato have a deep, rich, sweet and tangy 'real tomato' flavour.  These complex flavoured tomatoes are popular in sauces, in canning and as the base for a wonderful pasta sauce.
