Uses for the Chinese 5 Colour Chillies are plentiful as they have a delicious sweet pepper flavour that develops a good head of heat that then fades relatively quickly.  Wonderful in sauces and salsas, but also livens up the colour and flavour of salads and sandwiches beautifully.
