Aunt Ruby’s German Green Giant DF Tomato

Finally, we obtained the Dry Farming version of one of our all time favourite tomatoes, Aunt Ruby’s German Green Giant.

Yields of extra large succulent and sweet tomatoes are very high on plants that grow in excess of two meters.

In South Africa as with many parts of the world, fresh water reserves are of concern. Dry farming tomatoes needs less water than normal strains as well as tolerate heat conditions better.
