Sweet and Tangy Pickled Peppers
This recipe is extremely easy and works really well for
- Pepperdews
- Jalapeno’s
- Deda de Mocha chillis
Ingredients
You will need:
Enough chillis to fill a 750ml jar (seeds removed, cut stem side open and remove with small spoon or back of spoon)1 cup vinegar, 1 cup water, ½ cup sugar & 5ml pickling spice (optional)
Preparation:
Bring the vinegar, water sugar and spice mix to a boil for approximately 5 mins
Add chillis to the boiling mix and simmer for about 10 to 15 mins.
Pack chillis in the Jar and fill jar with the liquid boiling mixture
Screw on jar lid and leave for about one week before using.
Keep jar refrigerated
