The A Grappoli D'Inverno (translated as Winter grapes or 'bunches of winter tomatoes”)were introduced from Southern Puglia in Italy at the beginning of the 1900's.  Also known as Pomodoro Galantina, these lavishly generous plants are splendid hanging or container plants sporting vast quantities of oval cherry sized red fruit.

The succulent yet firm sweet fruit are excellent long keepers staying fresh for up to 6 weeks.  They can be dried easily on the vine or off.
