Spanish Black radish

Spanish Black Radish grows best during winter and produce round roots with a black exterior and crisp white interior.

 

Believed to be extremely healthy, black radish is used in various forms in traditional medicines apart from being really tasty. You can also leave these radishes a bit longer in the ground, up to tennis ball size they are still perfectly edible.

 

Space these radishes a bit further apart than what you will normally plant radish seeds, 10 to 15 centimeters are ideal so they have enough space to reach their larger than normal potential.
