Petit Gris de Rennes Melon

Petit Gris de Rennes an heirloom melon from France, is considered by many the best tasting melon you can find, we can concur, the taste is out of this world. Fruits are green and smaller in size, when they ripen the blossom end cracks open and / or the stem side loosens from the plant. As soon as you start to see cracks appearing on the stem where it is attached to the fruit check daily for cracks in the bottom. You want to harvest as soon as the cracks appear at the blossom end.

Plants are compact, produce very fast and fruits are  of smaller size.
