Basil Herb : Dark Opal

Dark Opal basil adds colour to any dish where you use basil. A gardeners standard tried and tested. Very similar in growth habit and flavour profile to the oother gardener’s standard Sweet Genovese basil.

Plant basil in rich well composted soil, keep picking leaves and pinch out flower stalks for a longer production period. Basil is an annual that does not tolerate frost or extreme cold. Very suitable to grow in pots or flower boxes
