Aswad Eggplant

Delicious, productive, easy to grow and large. Aswad eggplant from Iraq is a real winner in the garden. At Glen Seeds, we cut thick ‘steaks’ from this variety, batter and fry and season with aromat. It’s good hot or cold.

Aswad Eggplant tolerate diseases quite well, plants are sturdy but it is advisable to stake them since the fruits can get exceptionally large.
