The Rocotillo Pepper is believed to have originated but was discovered in Puerto Rico. "Mild" by classification Rocotillo Brown peppers are attractive green ripening to brown squash-like grow on sturdy, compact 45cm-60cm bushes.
The Rocotillo Brown Pepper is most flavourful when allowed to ripen to brown. These unusually shaped habanero type peppers have a lovely rich, mild fruity flavour that enhances Mexican and Spanish dishes like stews and soups. They also make a nice drying chilli
